WHAT CLIENTS SAY
I'll drive up from North Salt Lake for this place. My pup loves to mingle with the other dogs afterwards, but if they're not playing nice the ladies do separate them. My little guy always comes out perfect and smells great with no tangles. And he roams the outdoors like a lab lol. Great customer service and trust so far!

The Dogroom
Taking care of your pets for 30 years
How can you tell when your pet needs to be groomed?
It's ideal to groom your pet daily, incorporating basic cleaning habits into their routine. Each morning, check for any boogers around the eyelids.
After walking your dog, you must check his coat and paws for any debris every time you return from a walk. Clipping the nails from time to time, brushing the coat, bathing every 7-10 days, etc. are healthy sanitation practices.
As for professional grooming, we recommend a 4-6 week schedule. You can also take your pet to the salon whenever you feel the need for a good trim and makeover.
How often should I trim my pet’s nails?
Most pets need a monthly nail trim, although some may not require it as frequently if their nails naturally wear down from activities like walking on rough surfaces. When clipping your pet's nails at home, use specially designed nail clippers appropriate for your pet's size.
Be cautious while trimming to avoid causing pain, as this can lead to a negative association with nail trimming. If your dog is restless during the process, consider seeking professional help or using a nail filer instead of clippers.
What can we do to ease our pet's grooming anxiety?
Most pet groomers do not allow pet parents to be with them during the grooming session.
We understand that it is very difficult to leave your baby with a stranger. The best thing you can do here is to do your research regarding the groomer. Make sure that they are credible and trustworthy. Once you are at peace, your dog will automatically calm down. If you are hesitant, your dog will understand and be skeptical as well.
Be patient, slowly and steadily, you get used to it, and there comes a time when you and your pet love it.
