Megan Johnson has been a pet groomer for 30 years. She loves working with animals and making them look their best. She leads a team of skilled groomers who take great care of every pet.

Megan Johnson
Owner and Operator
Hi! My name is Megan, and I’ve been running The Dogroom for 30 years. I spent 16 years as a welder before finding my way to working in my true passion, caring for animals. I grew up showing Championship Great Danes. I LOVE all animals. Throughout my life, I’ve had a lion, a raccoon, a monkey, snakes, birds, cats, and lots of dogs.
I am certified in CPR for dogs and cats, and my specialty is working with poorly behaved dogs and senior dogs. I groom all breeds of dogs from the very small to the very large.
When you walk into my shop, I want you AND your four-legged friend to feel comfortable and to enjoy a cozy, cage-free space. We keep our shop clean and quiet, and always use top-of-the-line shampoo for your furry family members.
Chaunsey Johnson
Groomer
From the time she was 6 years old, Chaunsey grew up in the shop. Now, at 22, she’s been grooming for 3 years. Grooming dogs is an art, and Chaunsey excels at it. She loves helping dogs look and feel their best, and she has a special touch for helping elderly dogs feel comfortable.
When she’s not working she takes care of her own 15-year-old Shitzu, and raises ferrets and reptiles, and uses her skills as a makeup artist. She applies Halloween makeup for seasonal activities, and enjoys face-painting for kids at all kinds of events.
Alecia Willumsen
Groomer
For ten years, Alecia worked in California as a mobile groomer before coming to work at the Dogroom 8 years ago. She has raised many of her own dogs, papillons and chow chows, and she loves the art of grooming dogs.
Alecia is an avid hiker. In her spare time, she likes to study philosophy, loves to try new food and so does her puppy. She also makes and sells jewelry.
Caden Campbel
Apprentice Groomer
Caden joined our team in 2022. As a committed dog-lover, he came to us looking for a happy career. He bathes, dries, grooms and takes care of all kinds of dogs. He loves photography, bird watching, tattoos, and all of nature.
